My two very special cats – Jack and Gaby finally found their new forever home. Both have been living with me for years. There was a very unsuccessful attempt of rehoming last year. After so many emotions, worries, anxieties, i was able to finally let them go, even though i was filled with fear and doubts. Both now live with a kind, caring young couple who call Jack “cuddle addict”:)
Letting them go was one of the hardest things i had to do. Letting go is never easy but sometimes it is the only way to move forward again, to be able to help again, to be able to ensure them and yourself the life we all deserve.
I truly hope they will be happy for many years because they are the best cats i have ever known and they deserve the greatest happiness on earth!
One is for sure – i will never ever be able to forget them and the years we lived together. Jack taught me a lot about life through his unique personality and fighting spirit! He enojoyed every single moment in life and he surely knew how to do that in the best way possible.
Every now and then i will ask myself just like in that song:
“But sometimes I will ask the moon
Where it shined upon you last
And shake my head and laugh and say
It all went by too fast”.
Goodbye, Jack and Gaby! Be happy, be loved! I am proud i knew you!
